Paul is a Sci-Fi fan and volunteers at the Spa Sci-Fi show each year. He is using 3D printing to produce body armour and weapons as seen in the “Aliens” film franchise. The body armour is based on that of the United States Colonial Marines as seen in that film. The gun depicted is a modified M41-A1.
Paul expects to be wearing the armour while doing security at the Spa show next year. He may be guarding the door at Mates next open day as well!
A note to add here is the armour and weapons are purely for show. The gun might eventually have electronic firing sounds but it will not and cannot fire anything.
It’s all extremely realistic and shows what you can do with a 3D printer.
