We offer woodworking guidance and/& courses providing a safe and/&supportive environment where members can learn to use both hand and power tools

Scarborough Mates has embraced 3D printing technology meaning members have expertise on hand to help them design and produce specific items for various projects.

Scarborough Mates has a regular weekly art group that fosters creativity among members, providing a supportive environment for sharing ideas and techniques.

Scarborough Mates offers Mahjong, and a selection of board games, providing lively fun and engaging sessions for members to enjoy.

Having a cuppa while chatting with friends at Scarborough Mates is the perfect way to spend an hour or two, joining in with the conversation, laughter and shared stories.

Mates offers a range of different ceramics sessions that cater for all skill levels, providing a creative space for participants to explore their artistic potential.

Mates Crafternooners sessions offer a creative space for members to engage in various crafting activities, eg knitting and crochet, book folding, lacemaking, card making and sewing.

The Scarborough Mates Model Railway Group is a band of enthusiasts whose members collaborate on designing and building intricate layouts.

Scarborough Mates offers an opportunity for members to explore pyrography, the art of burning designs into wood and other materials, using a specialized tool known as a pyrography pen.

The ceramics group has a “Pug Mill”. This machine is best described as a mince-meating machine made for clay. It has a big corkscrew that compresses and forces clay through a fixed orifice.
