Following the interest shown at Scalby Model railway show about the railcar with Batman and Wonder Woman riding on the roof and Woody the cowboy hanging on the back, Scarborough Mates has decided to construct a second Tram loco. This one will be based on “Toby” from “Thomas the Tank Engine.
The new loco is being built using mates’ 3D printer. A long look on the internet showed up lots of designs for a Toby, but none exactly what was wanted for here. So while taking inspiration from the internet designs, this one is being designed in “Tinkercad”.
Its an itteritive process, the chassis is about finished. It encloses a Hornby 0-4-0 motor. The main body exists as a prototype but is stiil being developed and we have yet to start on the roof.
It is not yet known if the Fat Controller will be the driver?
