The 3D printing group meet on the third Thursday in the month at 3.15.
Mates has its own 3D printer and we can show you how to produce your own designs and then print the result. We can start you off designing in the CAD programme “Tinkercad”. This is a free programme that will run on your home computer and which is probably the easiest way to get started.
Objects that have been printed at mates include one off replacements for broken parts in various machines, tools to be used by the ceramics group, the workshop and lots of items for the model railway.
